Things covered will be genre expectations, plotting, characters, location, clues, denouement, and more. Learn how to be a more effective writer 24 hours a day by designing a writer’s life. Topics include: What Stories Am I Meant to Tell?, The Essentials of Storytelling, Journaling, How to Craft Irresistible Dialogue, Best Practices for Enhancing Creativity and also How to Produce More By Writing to Deadline. As a bonus, we will practice how to Edit Like a Pro. Instructor David Kilmer has spent a lifetime crafting stories, published hundreds of magazine stories, two literary non-fiction books including his most recent, The Way of the Sailor and one novel.
